Nvidia Tegra 4 Boasts "Computational Photography Architecture"

Nvidia announces its ARM15-based 4-core Tegra 4 processor featuring "Computational Photography Architecture, which automatically delivers high dynamic range (HDR) photos and video by fusing together the processing power of the GPU, CPU and the camera's image-signal processor.

Its HDR capability captures images, including those taken with a flash, the way they are seen by the human eye -- with detail in both bright and dark areas.
"

Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang presented few slides on the new architecture in his keynote at CES (arstechnica, androidandme, Anandtech):

  1. "Computational Photography Architecture"

Well but this is not a seperate physical core or so but only software that employes GPU+ISP+CPU, right?
(those HW units are available in many other products as well so... yeah nice performance demo but nothing new)

Question is: How much throughput and how much power? 4x Cortex-A15 must be a power vampire and I am pretty sure with all these GPU cores we are talking 5++ Watt ;-)
